About SAMUNDAR

SAMUNDAR is a companion Gurbani search tool. It is built for moments when a pankti is remembered only partly, phonetically, with imperfect spelling, or in Roman Punjabi rather than exact Gurmukhi.

What SAMUNDAR is for

The core job is simple: help a person find verified Gurbani from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji when exact wording is not available in memory. Search accepts Roman Punjabi and Gurmukhi, including many incomplete, reordered, inflected, and cross-line remembered phrases.

A companion Gurbani search tool

SAMUNDAR is focused on one job: helping a person find a remembered Gurbani pankti, even when the wording is partial or imperfect.

Pankti Ucharo · BETA

Pankti Ucharo uses speech as a search clue. Different accents, pronunciation, browser speech services, and background noise can affect transcription. SAMUNDAR therefore searches the verified corpus for possible matches; it does not treat raw speech transcription as Gurbani.

Windows app

A dedicated Windows version is planned for Microsoft Store distribution after release-candidate testing. The web and Windows versions are being structured around the same SAMUNDAR search core.
